Gyan Jyoti ITI Polytechnic institute aims to provide the best

infrastructure possible to its students. Steps are being taken to ensure the

maximum utilization of the Institute facilities which include a first grade

faculty team, a sprawling campus consisting of an excellent college building

housing an well equipped library, a modern computer laboratory, a state of the

art Mass Communication laboratory, a large playing field and a college

canteen.

We provide education equivalent to IGNP, Indira Gandhi National Polytechnic and ITI. We have various streams in which we provide education.

People of engineering trade can go for higher studies like diploma in

engineering. There are also specialised short term courses in Advanced

Training Institute  which enhances the skills of candidates. ITI qualified

persons can set up their own garage, winding shops or fabrication shops

depending upon trade opted. Also candidates can apply for jobs in private

sector and public sectors. Government organisations like Indian Army, Navy,

Airforce and also paramilitary forces like BSF, CRPF provide opportunities for

ITI passed candidates of different trades.

development of the students. The programmes of the Institute are so designed

to give a new impetus to the educational scenario in the region in general and

Siliguri in particular to bring about effective and acceptable solution to the

problems of the students, be it academic, personal or emotional. The Institute
